CB Antoine Cason

How is Cason only 27? I feel like he has been in the league for over a decade.

It would not be a bad idea to sign both Thomas and Cason. Doing this would help Gttleman truly pick the best available o-lineman or WR in the draft.

We have many holes and we can't fill them all through the draft.

Agreed, but I wasn't comfortable last season either. I'm just hoping we draft one or two DBs. I'm personally hoping for V-Tech's DBs (Fuller and Exum).

 

I keep changing my mind everyday. Do I want them to draft 2 WR early, or 2 OL early, and then 2 CBs early. This draft is going to be interesting. I also know i am going to be in the minority, but I don't think Melvin White was good at all last year. Yes, he surprised as a UDFA, but there was a stretch up to the playoffs where he got abused. I am nervous that they believe he is an answer.

Guys like Fuller, J. Watkins, Brooks, Gaines, Exum, etc will be available in the mid-rounds (with the exception of Fuller who will go in first or second round). I honestly believe we can draft two WRs early and still end up with a quality DB. That said, we can do the same for DB in rounds 1-2 and get a starting caliber WR regardless.

This draft is deep at DB, WR and OT.

It's as if Gettleman knew this all along or something.

The mere fact that our top three positions of need are the deepest in the draft in quite some time almost feels like divine intervention, doesn't it?

 

i know the positions are totally different, but if gettles double-dips on the o-line and wide receiver like he did with DT last year and simultaneously gives cam young weapons and beefs up the line with a couple of fatass hogmolly tackles it's not out of line to expect our offense to rise above the 28th rank it languished in last season.

yup. a couple young talents at wideout and a few savvy vets in on the line and we'll be a much better team than the screaming children seem to think.
