Barner isn't gonna last in the NFL. He looked like a blow up doll everytime he touched the ball last season. He got obliterated every single time. Kid is gonna get himself killed.

Barner was benched from special teams at Oregon because he was slow.

I don't care what he benched. He can't take a hit in the NFL. Punters absorb hits better than he does.

Nobody's really mentioned this, but I really believe that Kenjon Barner will be a huge part of our passing offense as a scatback, Sproles style. I believe that's a big part of Rivera and G-man's plan and that sort of explains why they aren't going after any FA WRs of great notability. Barner could be a huge threat especially if opposing teams turn up the blitz due to our poor o-line and we can run those screenplays that we'd run with DeAngelo. Anyone else see it happening? And working??

I absolutely loved Barner in college, but damn that boy looks awkward and uncomfortable with the ball in his hands. Hope they increase his reps in practice to get him ready to go

That is his offense and it works on teams with good defense but it is too conservative for my taste. I assume we have no interest in being able to compete with the elite. The window of time in this league is short and our defense is too good to piss away because of a stagnant offense.

I don't know, Luke's contract will be coming up soon, we won't be able to keep CJ and Hardy around forever. TD is about to turn 31 too.

Barner was a waste of a pick. I said it as soon as we drafted him. There were other things we needed and it's showing now. Barner won't make it through camp.

Good points but I don't think Luke is going anywhere and Star and KK will be around for a while. Our secondary has no choice but to improve also.
