if he's serious about getting cleaned up and cleaning up his reputation in the league, then this is exactly the right situation and, well, the exact type player gettleman is looking for.

it all depends on if gettleman believes he's willing and able to put in the work needed.

Is it possable that the "issue" that Cam reportedly had with Smitty, was that Smith started out counceling Cam on his attitude, composure, demeanor, and how to conduct himself as a leader, but ended up harping on Cam to get the ball to him more as Smittys stats began to decline?

That could effect a young QBs concentration and slow down his develoment.

I mean Smitty had such a commanding presence and big attitude, I could see where Cam could have felt like he had to appease him. I seem to remember that a lot of Cams INTs came from trying to force it into Smitty?

Could that be what Gettlemen saw?

He's gonna have to go somewhere one a one year deal on the cheap. He's gonna be looking for somewhere that will start him, either because of belief or necessity.

Yeah he guaranteed it back in December. He has the skill set but needs to obviously prove he's healthy and stable.
