Trade Target: Denarius Moore?

Denarious Moore + Raiders 2nd for Hardy, done deal

i think you are on the right path with this idea. zod pointed out in another discussion that the best time might be after the first wave of free agency because teams that were really hoping to score a good DE missed out for different reasons like we did with WRs might be willing to give up something in a trade that we need.

trading hardy isn't at all off the table.

Perhaps.  But Moore has plenty of professional stating experience and has shown that he can make big plays.  He would definitely be a starter. Honestly I would probably give a 4th for him, but a 5th (which is what they are missing) would be a no-brainer in my book.

Excellent point.  Player for player maybe? Frank Alexander or Mario Addison or Amini Silatolu?

The pick is the carrot stick that the Raiders would probably be looking for.

I wouldn't trade Amini for him, he's too valuable to us at the moment.  Now Alexander or Addison, sure. The Raiders may balk though, as they just signed Lamarr Woodley and Justin Tuck.

Alexander or Addison may have some trade value though. And we still have Wes Horton. Interesting thought.

For one, how does that make me a bandwagon.

Secondly, how you gonna call somebody a bandwagon after joining just last month with only 333? LOL

You just said "I've never rooted for a team that felt like rebuilding after a top-5 finish,"

I'm asking how many teams you've "rooted for?"

Idiot...you said it, not me.

And I've been a Panther fan since the day they announced we were getting a franchise. Posting in a message board means very little in terms of being a fan or not. Hell, my grandpa has season tickets and can't even get on the internet, so STFU with that bs

I root for many teams. Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Bobcats, Atlanta Braves, and Carolina Hurricanes and out of those teams none of them ever felt like it was rebuilding after being a Top 5 the year before. Thats all I was saying.

I suggested something like that many moons ago, but now that they have Lamarr Woodley and Justin Tuck, I just don't see it happening.  Now somewhere else, who knows? At this point we're supposedly trying to work out a long term deal, but knowing Hardy it's not going to be a walk in the park.  I wonder what other teams would realistically trade for his services.
