God, we are fuged. We HAVE to double dip with our first and second pick at WR and even then it takes receivers time to get used to the NFL game. To make matters worse we are supposedly

interested in a fuging lineman in the 1st.

There is still no reason to overeact. Still could be some trade or june 1st cap casualties. There are still many options and scenerios.

Over at SB Nation, Raider fans are somewhat upset. Rumor has it that Jones got north of 15 million. Nothing is confirmed though.

Not surprising.  When I see people bitching before knowing his contract details, I wonder how much they understand the football thingy-- the, um-cap or something.

 

This does not fit the Gettlemen MO.  A high-profile player slipping through the cracks--usually means that he was asking for too much $$.  Maybe that is why Carolina reached out but did not offer.

 

I am like everyone else-I want to hear about some signings--but I do not want to dig a huge hole or enter bad deals.

As bad as things are in the WR department, just know it's even WORSE in the LT department. I think I'd rather see us go to war with McNutt and King than Byron Bell at LT. We need to address that issue more than anything.

This FA class of WR this year was/is kinda poo and I don't blame him for not tying up money into mediocre talent just to have a signing.
