eagles not happy with Jackson

I think we'd owe DJax 6.75 this year in a trade.

That's the number that shows up under savings for Philadelphia on OverTheCap.

That's the dead money that would be created due to his signing bonus, has nothing to do with whatever team acquires him and falls solely on Philly.

Unless he agrees to take less to facilitate a trade, the acquiring team will owe him 10.5m.

Howie Roseman is like the Eagles version of Marty Hurney.

Not a traditional 'football' guy, loooves to trade.  Per one report I saw Roseman has made 26 player for pick trades since becoming Eagles GM (that's not even counting draft day trade ups and downs).

Steve Reed pointed out the pick isn't necessarily a big issue but a 10.5 million dollar cap figure is.  Would need some serious reworking and I'm not sure Jackson is up for that.

He is asking for more up front money from the Eagles

I never liked Roseman. Can't put my finger on exactly why though so maybe my dislike of him is unfounded. I can't believe that there has been that many player for pick trades since he became GM just a couple years ago. Not doubting it at all, just didn't realize that.

His lifelong goal was to be a GM of a football team and he has been obsessed with it his whole life. I will say this though, not all of those trades are his doing because both Andy Reid and now Chip kelly make all the personell decisions in Philly not Roseman. Hell, Andy Reid and Belichick traded draft picks every year for more than a decade just for the sake of making a trade.
