Why? WIlliams is also a good ST player, and I think cheaper than Senn. Maybe, he can be a better backup if he needs to play because Senn wasn't a good LB. He was getting torched in coverage when he played extended minutes.

Senn was a special teams captain, one of our aces, vocal leader, had starting experience I don't think Williams has demonstrated anything above what Senn had done there.

Williams is also one of ST aces. He doesn't have starting experience, and  hopefully he won't gain this year. But I don't think that he would be worse than Senn as LB. I'll give you that Senn was a ST captain, but ST team had few veterans like Brockel and Tolbert.

Williams is a darn good STer. Not only did he block the punt against the jets but he told the coaches of a weakness in their formation he noticed mid game. Him and the coaches worked out a way to take advantage of that weakness. Always good to have a few heads up players out there.

i like JW he plays all 4 ST and he blocked a punt.. which is fuging awesome

Good depth, but we probably still need to grab a LB in the free agency.  Wouldn't mind James Anderson or Will Witherspoon.  Also, probably need to draft a LB too.  Derrell Johnson, Kevin Pierre-Louis, and Adrian Hubbard are my top choices.
