I'd be interested to see how Bond does at RT and put Wharton or Chandler at LT. That is until we draft a tackle.

If they don't draft someone NFL-ready or sign a vet LT, I could see them trying Silatolu or Bell at LT.

With the current guys, I'd be most chill with something along the lines of this:

 

LT - Chandler/Bell

LG - Amini/Scott

C - Kalil

RG - Wharton/Scott/Chandler

RT - Bell/Bond 

 

It's obvious there's the blindside need.  Hoping Chandler would be ok is a reach.

Pretty straight forward question.  

 

I don't know what the rest of the FA will provide but it's a mixed bag of offensive linemen we have at tackle and we need someone to protect Cam's blindside in the worst kind of way.

I'm not so sure if there is but was looking to see if these guys had any fans.  I didn't think Chandler did poorly by any means this past season.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "stop gap" left tackle..... You're either good enough to start and protect your QB's blindside or you aren't.  We do not have starters quality offensive tackles.  If Bell was cut, he wouldn't start for another team...He's pretty bad.

Nate Chandler played LT exclusively thoughout training camp and preseason, grading out perfect from the preseason.
