What if another team offered us their 1st next year for our 2nd this year, Marty Hurney style? It seems like it would make sense but at the same time I hate the idea of not have a 2nd.

just doesnt feel right with how deep this draft is and how free agency usually dictates team needs as well.  landscape can still change and we never know.  we could trade up a couple spots for someone we really need, but moving up sounds too risky.

We have no definite long term solution at any position in the secondary, receivers, or offensive tackles. With us being cap strapped that solution isnt likely to appear in FA for at least another year. Can't afford to give up quality draft picks unless the guy is highly regarded within our FO and the asking price isn't significant.

Would depend on the projected position of the 1.....but would strongly consider no matter what.

 

Those are trades that contenders year in and year out make.................. we're not there yet.
