A Jones-Draft Pick-Cotchery combo would be better than overpaying for the question mark that was Nicks.

Better than last year as well.

Hell, I'm fine with just Cotchery and drafting some guys.  Maybe pick up a cheap WR FA post-draft.

Hmmm...

Go back to losing with a broke down team & QB

I'm fine with him as a situational #3 or 4 guy, which is what he was in Pittsburgh. His numbers are misleading. He played behind Wallace, Brown, and Sanders two seasons ago, then had a slightly increased role last season after Wallace left. He was just extremely efficient in the role he was used in...

Would it be a great pick up? Sure. But he's not anything more than a #3 WR at best. If Rice could stay healthy, he has #1 potential, but ideally we need a #1 with our first pick, obviously.

You have to laugh at some of the comments made on here, last year it was we don't won't ginn he can't catch, he's not a wideout, we now could sign a guy who has actually been productive and would be a good weapon for us and because it's not this guy or that guy there's no point in signing him, Logic?

I'm reading the comments in some of the articles on this subject.  Panthers fans whining about gutting our receiver core and signing "scrubs" while Steeler fans are hoping to resign him.  Sure puts a lot of fans into perspective.  This is a guy who can be a solid contributor and won't break the bank.
