It's easy to get ten TDs when the defense has their attention on Antonio Brown.

 

I wouldn't say it's ever easy to catch 10 TD in a season, but I would count it as a statistical outlier in Cotchery's career. As I mentioned earlier, he had 7 TD in the previous 4 seasons all combined. Sometimes fortune smiles on you and sometimes it doesn't. Cotchery is 10 TD per season good like Hakeem Nicks is 0 TD per season bad. It wouldn't shock me if they both caught 5 next year because that would be more in line with what their careers have been to this point.

yep. since smitty left, i feel like im on a roller coaster from day to day.  

 

like a poster said earlier, we really havent seen what the new guys are all about and cam is going to make whoever we put there better.. so lets hold steady and see what this offseason brings.  but holy cow it sucks right now

I don't understand why, when Gettleman told us to be excited about McNutt and King, so many people choose not to be optimistic about them?

Give me one reason why you choose to ignore the man, when he's so highly regarded as being a wiz at evaluating talent?

The only must, at this point in the offseason, is that we don't overpay when offering contracts. We can't afford much over the vet minimum at this point and we still have draft picks to sign.

I'm of the belief that this is a next-man up league and that if you know a player's strengths and weaknesses, you can build route-trees that will utilize those strengths. No reason to think we won't get the most of the players we have.

He also said he was excited about Josh Norman, I have 0 faith in anyone that's excited about Josh Norman.
