lol you guys take it too seriously regarding the dad. One day when he shows this at his wedding they will all have a good laugh. There was no malicious attack on the kid and the dad was not trying to get anything out of it beside a laugh and memory from it.

What the dad did was completely dickish.  Intentionally doing something to make your liitle kid cry is a complete dickish mover....plain and simple.

Nothing wrong with what this Dad did.  If you have a problem with it, then you obviously do not have kids or you keep them in a bubble and one day you'll find your 34 year old son eating all the fruit loops, controlling the remote and not cleaning his room while you and your retired wife beg him to find his own place.

How would you suggest telling Gavin about the SS cut?  Pizza party at Chunky Cheese with a going away cake in SS honor along with $20 in game tokens to take away some of the pain?  You must be raising some real nice tulips...LOL

what gets me is gavin looks like he is emotionally invested,  while his sister is still in the pretty color faze.   he kinda knows whats going on and dad is straight up exploiting him.  i hope the dad does something similar when the kid is 19 and gavin responds with a swift right hook...and laughs "all in good fun dad"
