Randy moss washed out after his NE Days due to age and care level. Prior to that he was always a beast and had 1 bad year in 06 when Andrew Walter was his QB....and even in that bad year he still had as many receiving yards per game as any panther receiver had last year so try again....actually don't your just bored as fug and want to argue....can't believe you're trying to tell me Randy Moss wasn't elite

5 seasons, age 25-29, 48 TDs

3 seasons, age 30-32, 47 TDs

Moss had 8 TD '05 & 3 TD in '06. He was no where near elite when he went to NE. His QB is a lame ass excuse. It didn't stop him from being a monster early in his career. He sucked when he arrived in NE. He sucked again after he left.

Tom Brady & Belichick made Moss those 3 years.

Not true. New England had great defenses for all of their Super Bowl titles.

Depends on what you are looking at.  They had defenses in the bottom 15 that played very well in the playoffs much like New York did when they played them in 2007.  But they were not that great in the regular season at least in total yards surrendered.

2001- 24th

2003- 26th

2004- 24th

Where they were good was in points allowed.

2001- 1st

2003- 6th

2004- tied for second

Their bend don't break defense was good limiting points but lousy in controlling the clock or shutting other teams down.  They feasted on  a very weak division and an offense that 2 of the three years was in the top 6 in points scored.

Yea because Welker has been ass in Denver, smh. Do you guys watch other teams?

Welker is a tiny ass slot WR who can't get separation or fight for the ball. Be relies on accurate passes from an elite QB in a system where he runs quick routes and catches dump off passes equivalent to check downs.

If you're argument that Brady had these great WRs by naming him, you've defeated yourself.

Yea and that tiny ass slot receiver out produces anybody on our roster.

Cam has a Canadian Football League receiving corps, and that's putting it nicely.

It's probably closer to indoor arena football.

He doesn't have a receiving core yet so how can you classify something he doesn't have? The core has yet to be determined.

which brings us to the point of....why exactly is everyone crying about them leaving? if they were CFL calibre and out produced by a tiny ass slot receiver who disappeared, then they weren't worth keeping in the first place.

The old players are used to Hurney showing up at negotiations wearing a white beard, red suit, and handing out lucrative contracts to all the good little boys. Gettlemen is refusing to pay steep prices for mediocre talent. Capt. was overpaid in Minnesota, but I bet he doesn't think so.

Who have we underpaid so far sir? As a matter of fact, who have we signed at all?

Watching a football life, it's like they sit down and design offensive plays like madden hot routes. The Patriots offense is built to create mismatches and they create routes that take advantage of weaknesses. Ours....not so much.
