Just got 10,852 without using the down key. Had my first 1,024 tile on the board.

yep...avoided the down key and tried to keep the highest numbers on the top row.

This game needs to be made for iPhone immediately. 

 

I saw someone playing it on their phone on the subway today. The blocks were different colors so it may be a different version.

 

As for people posting their scores, I'd think the lower the score (with a win) is what you should brag about!

Be very careful....if you hit the "End" button, it resets the game. I was very close to finishing. I keep the highest number down and right, and keep the right column full.

I just dropped around 15,000 on my phone without getting 2048.

I used it in browser on my phone during classes today. Now that I've seen someone's score double the 2048, I can't stop until I match it.

As for the game, I can get the 1024 in a matter of 5 minutes at this point. Gotten 2048 three times now. Just can't even get close to the next one up though.
