I could see this happening. Gettleman has been negotiating with LaFell since Friday with no word on a deal. You would think we would have signed him by now.

Not that I'm upset about this in the slightest but what does it say about our offensive system that Brandon would rather go to New England and compete for a job rather than be handed one here?

Of course it's always possible we offered him next to nothing and didn't desire to bring him back all that fervently, which would be understood, given his ability or lack thereof.

At first I was thinking holy crap we can't sign anyone.. but o 'well!!! Too be honest I was hoping to let him go cuz it seemed he was great then hands of stone even though he was slated as a great blocker but that would not be an issue with we had a descent OL.. blah..blah.. last year was a surprise and great this year will suck.. I was hoping we could have back to back winning seasons for ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
