Ginn made Revis his bitch in a game last season on a beautiful route that resulted in a TD.... which is a greater extreme, since Revis is much , much better than Harper and Ginn, as far as a career goes, is way way worse than Dwill and Stewart.

1 game but the scouting sheet for Years against the Saints was to get Harper in mismatch situation. He sucks and now he is here.

No, you fail because no one can know the speeds at which Cam chased those guys or Bradford chased Harper. That is why I said the video proves nothing.

Full speed in all cases is a reasonable assumption, but since Cam is much faster than Bradford it's ugly for Harper no matter how you slice it. Nice try though.

Two things that are vastly overrated. All that really matters is production. If you need a guy to do X and he can do X then who cares about his age or 40 time.

I misspoke when I said he'd bring the same production as Mitchell did. He's actually outproduced Mitchell as far as racking up tackles, sacks and forced fumbles. He's been one of the most productive in the box safeties in the NFL over his career.

The old Saints DC (that put together the worst defense in NFL history) let him get isolated and exposed in coverage, which is why he gets trashed as much as he does. Rob Ryan knew better and so will Rivera. I see him being used in a situational 2 down role, coming out in obvious passing situations and expect him to do very well in that role.

So you can easily say that harpers best days are indeed behind him far behind him. Comparing that to a young player who just had his breakout season. I dont care what harper has done in the past there is no way in hell he gets 70+ tackles and 4 ints. And when I meant faster I meant overall athleticism. Not only could mitchell line up 25 yards off the ball and be at the LOS in no time he also has the ability to get sacks by being deceptive with his speed and being utilized in disguised coverages whereas harper will always play in the box. He really isnt that good like at all hes just better than putting a dude like nakamura or colin jones back there

People win the superbowl with different models. The SEA LB core is inferior to ours (yeah, no one even knew that SB MVP) and that is what I think the team is counting on. Seahawks do pass rush and talented secondary. Rivera counts on the pass rush and LB core more than the secondary.

 

But you can't ignore the secondary in today's league with throwing the ball. You have to get to the QB and have a secondary. The past 2 SB winners proved that. The denver broncos is going for that model signing ware, sigining aqib, signing t.j. They know those are two areas of the defense you have to upgrade

Reasonable or not, it's still an assumption and those situations tell us nothing conclusive. How about assume Braford has gotten faster and Cam has gotten slower after the combine? How about assume Bradford reaches his max speed beyond 40yds accelerating at a rate which makes him faster than Cam who might be slowing down after 40yds?

 

Yeah, lets play the assumption game.
