It's not about what he got. Man people here really have lost it! If Gettleman locks Mitchell up as he should have PRIOR to FA then Mitchell never really knows his value as a FA does he? Therefore, he would have never signed anything with anyone else but us.

Anybody using PFF as a argument needs to realize that Mitchell came into Carolina with three consecutive years of a negative PFF rating. Suddenly he becomes good in coverage playing on a great front seven and defensive mind? That's not a coincidence.
