I hope so.  But, I also hoped he'd take the opportunity to step up when Smitty was injured last year.  He didn't step up, he stepped out.  He was completely M.I.A.

Could do worse as a 3rd wide receiver. At least he knows the system. Hopefully he understands that this is his last opportunity to show the league if he can be a good number 2 guy or even have an outside (very unlikely) shot as a number one guy. If that isn't motivation for him I don't know what would be.
