2014 Signings vs. 2013 Signings

We didn't make most of our progress until after this time last year

Munnerlyn, Mitchell, Ginn—3/21/13

(full week later than today - although there were cries of apocalypse / Gettleman in over his head)

Blackburn 4/02/13

Domenik Hixon 4/10/13

Melvin White 5/10/13

Robert Lester 5/10/13

Chris Scott 8/02/13

Travelle Wharton 8/26/13

Full disclosure - We had already comfortably wrapped up Colin Cole and Jordan Senn

Hate to ruin the mood, but we may not have to forfeit all our 2014 games - Just a thought

I will admit, I was as worried last year about our 2ndary as I am about our receivers.

The difference is all the pieces we added to the 2ndary last year are basically gone.  So are all of the receivers.  And our line is even worse, and ugh.

Lots of offseason left.  Just hard to deal with.

Apples and oranges?

We only need a LT, CB, FS and WR. Talk about hyperbole. The fact is The Huddle is overracting to another quiet, slow off-season (in regards to signings).

We actually need three or four receivers, a CB, a FS, a starter at LT, and then considerable depth on the offensive line.

With as many holes as we have this year as opposed to last, it should be more difficult to actually improve upon our season. Last year it wasn't that difficult to improve on a 7 win season. This year I was hoping to improve on a 12 win season or have one comparable.

You can't compare apples and oranges...

This team has so many more holes to fill... Don't believe me just go look at the roster. We have an offensive linemen named Derek Dennis, who the f*ck is Derek Dennis?!?!

Word. I feel this all the way.

We've lost our TE2, our starting LT, our starting RG, our backup LG/RG, our WR1, WR2, WR3, our backup DT, our starting FS, our starting SS, our starting CB1, our starting CB2, and three very good special teams players...

I see more holes than you.

Btw try to fill those slots with 8 mil, good luck.
