Gordon gets the edge for me because he's 6 years younger and still on his rookie deal. If we're talking talent alone and ignoring cap space and future production, I'd go with Johnson too.

The possibility of a major suspension hanging over his head would make me very leery of sending the #28 pick for him.  From a talent perspective, I'd do it without second thought.

People that are saying NO aren't saying it because they don't believe he is talented, he is. It's that he's one strike from being outta here.

 

He'll be getting a massive contract in about 2 years. We need to hit on a first round WR at 28, no doubt about it. We need the benefit of a cheap talent on a 5 year contract, not handing out another Hardy contract when we have Cam and Keek to deal with.

why is his name still being thrown out by anyone other than the Browns?  He is their best player, was never going to get traded last year and certainly not this year.  But yes, if they would take our sorry 28th pick for a top 10-12 WR in this league then do the deed.

I would absolutely go for this! There had been rumors swirling about the Browns possibly trading him during last season so don't see y they wouldn't go for it now, ECSP for a 1st round pick. I'm not sure we would actually reach out to make the trade tho
