Cam is going to lead this team next year into the NFC Conference game with rookie WRs. Watch!!!!!!! (sarcasm)

Gman better know something we dont know about the 2014 WR prospects!!!!!!!!!!!!! He better be right!!!!!!!!!!! There better be a Jerry Rice and Randy Moss at 28 and the 2nd round.

Plan is to sign some band aid one year rentals.

Now isn't the time. After the draft we will know what are real rental holes are....

Then as the season approaches teams will cut all kinds of vet players. Boom goes the dynamite and Gettlemen gets his 1 yr rentals.

His plan doesn't involve overpaying for this wave of FAs. The cheap vets rejected right as the season start is his plan. Build in the draft.....rent the holes

What would you all be willing to sacrifice to trade up in the draft now .... to say pick up Sammy Watkins? Wondering how the draft will play out this year, and I get the feeling that's Gmans target to find the talent, not the FA. What say you? We do have at least an extra 7th to give up in conjunction with our first this year, wonder if that would be enough.

I know, probably going to be called an idiot, especially with the current mental state here on the huddle as of late

After the draft you say? That's usually a good time to fill your roster. We aren't in the same position as last year.

The Saints had $2 million after starting $15mil over the cap and still managed to tag Graham and bring in arguably the best free agent on the market with a contract over $50mil.

 

I have never been a pessimistic fan when it came to this franchise but I have also never seen a team, one that previously went 12-4, put so little around their franchise QB and gut the entire offense. After last season we were a couple to a few pieces away from taking the next step. Now we are 6-8 pieces away from even attempting to field a competitive team with rookies and cast-offs bottom of the barrel free agents.

That's horse poo and you know it. How you feel about Lafell being our best WR going into the season? Because that's exactly what we're looking at
