Don't you think Gettleman knows him a bit better than most GMs? He would have left with an offer if Gettleman was interested. He didn't.

I'm starting to wonder what Gettleman is thinking about the WRs in this years draft. Our lack of receivers on the roster and so far our lack of any work to get any FAs is weird. I mean why aren't we hearing about guys at least coming in for meetings? I'm not afraid for our team or Cam's future, but I just wanna know the plan, or at least have a better idea of where we're headed right now. Hopefully James Jones gets a little more attention now.

There is no defending it and I am a nuthugger (well a watch the process unfold and trust the experts guy), but this makes no since. Last week I didn't even want Nicks (unless it was a very cheap deal, I would have considered 1yr, 3.5M cheap and low risk). I don't advocate to sign all the free agents, but our WR's have a combined 4 career receptions.... Fugging 4... and we release our best one!!! Gettleman needs to speak out. At least say we have a plan.
