Croissants are the best breakfast bread

There I said it. I'm not going to be afraid anymore. I love you biscuits but I can't hide in the closet any longer.

So light. So flaky. A delish buttery crust that crackles like an angel fart when I bite into it. Mmmmmm.

I prefer biscuits. The cheese melts into the nooks and crannys or the gravy gets sopped up. And then one with grape jelly for dessert.

Bagels and biscuits are both better. And I am willing to fight to the death to defend that.

But my wife hates Burger King so shes bringing me a McDonalds Sausage Biscuit. With Cheese. No egg. It can't compare.

Okay, I'll elaborate; pancakes, waffles and crepes are all intended to be served warm and tend to be the centerpiece of the meal. Breads can be served at room temperature with or without accoutrement and unless eating on the go, are more of a side.
