What if Gettleman is trying to sabotage Cam?

No question that Gettleman is setting Cam up to fail. That way, next season Cam will walk, the franchise will tank and then relocate to San Jose. Then.......we (they) can draft Joe Montana's youngest son in 2018.

Great insight, Sam Mills Fan.

Wrong, wrong , wrong.

It's Los Angeles and we draft Roman Gabriel's Grand Son.

He hasn't liked Cam from the start, right? Remember when he was first asked about whether Cam was a franchise quarterback? It's incredibly easy to read Gettleman. The same negative body language he used when talking about Smitty since the offseason started is what he's used in the past when referring to Cam. What if he's trying to set Cam up for failure so he can run him out of town? No receivers, no offensive line, no competitive attempt to go after anyone to help Cam out so far, leaving Shula in place. Cam's contract expires after 2015. Sure does make one wonder...

no.

I notice a trend with you SMF. You don't really post much when things are going well, but as soon as something bad happens, you jump on it like R Kelly on a Girl Scout....

Then you whine and complain and give your sage opinion and conspiracy theories about just any old thing until you are blue in the face.

I'm having an internal crisis because I find arguing on the internet to be incredibly stupid, but I find this thread annoying too, and I know that by posting in here I am just acknowledging and encouraging you, but I just felt the need to say it. I'm sure you consider yourself a realist when it comes to the Panthers, but I swear man, you are the most pessimistic guy on this board sometimes. I'm sorry if I come off as a dick right now, I truly am, but this is just the icing on the cake of today's threads that I have been reading. Unfortunately, poo like today had to happen, and it is mainly due to Marty Hurney. I'm not just talking about Smitty, that sucks, it really does, but losing all these players to FA and Retirement sucks, but because Hurney dolled out all those terrible terrible terrible Jerry Jones like contracts, we are screwed for the next year in the Cash department. That's what happens when you keep the core of a 2-14 team and extend them to massive unwarranted contracts.

Gettleman is doing the crap that needs to be done unfortunately, and it really seems like the majority of the huddle does not understand that. Maybe I'm wrong and the level headed guys aren't opening their mouths (typing) as much as the "chicken littles" as they have been called recently, but we seem to be outnumbered. I was just as attached to these players as anyone else, but did you ever notice how no team sustains success when they hold on to the majority of a losing team? I really believe that we overachieved last year, and it was mainly because our Defense went Rambo on the league. This year, we are going to try something different with our offense, and right now, it looks like crap, I won't argue that, but Hurney screwed us into a corner, so now we are cleaning house by not re-signing anyone. It sucks but it needs to be done. It is not sabotage, it is just a really crappy situation.

I dont think that is his plan, but if  it is, it would be stupid. He would be running himself out of town.
