Falcons are switching to a 3-4 next year

That's a joke right? Look at the defensive rankings of all his units and get back to me.

Look at all the squads he's had. They've been terrible. He did well in Dallas even with all the poo talent they had and the Browns and Raiders are... the Browns and Raiders. No talent to work with. He was linebackers coach in NE when they won those Super Bowls and he got the most out of McGinest and Bruschi. Similar to how Riverboat made Jeremiah Trotter a monster in Philly when he was linebackers coach there. How about Mike Nolan's head coaching record? How were those defenses?

Nawlins did it with less 34 personnel. Mike Smith and Mike Nolan know defense.

Best way to beat 3-4 IMO is with a heavy power run game paired with a solid O-line to dominate the trench. Look at the Jets game last year who where number 1 in stopping the run and we ran the ball against the 49rs in the playoff besides the redzone. I believe Cam and the O are going to be better after 2013 season experience and we are going to need it especially playing mostly 3-4 defense this upcoming season.

3-4 Teams:

Ravens, Steelers, Cincy, Brown, GB, Eagles, Falcons, NO

Total: 10 Games

:rr:

We don't see it as often as 43's...that's about to change.

Yea I was actually pretty impressed with how the Saints managed last year especially considering all of the talk about the Panthers going to the 3-4(in jest mostly) but then people say we couldn't make it work.....

Well the Saints made it work and we are about to find out who was right or wrong in that debate because if the Falcons D has a turnaround then....damn
