Payton actually just started following Smith on twitter, so the story MAY have legs.

The Saints may want him but he would only play for them if he couldn't go anywhere else.  He hates the Saints as do most of us here.  Lets not forget he was targeted by Payton in Bountygate.  I know Smitty hasn't forgotten.
