Nicks visiting the Colts tonight

Colts just posted pic up of Nicks on twitter saying, "He's in the building."

I have a bad feeling about this... hopefully, if the money is close, he'll know his role will be much bigger here and he'll choose us.

It's the Colts man, they won't let him leave without a contract. That's what good organizations do

I think everyone here would agree

It seems like a Captain Obvious statement but its not about Nicks choosing another team over us but us choosing to not want him. Some fans I don't think gets this. They think if he doesn't sign here then we lost out again.

But yeah it did come across as a no poo Sherlock statement.

Who the fug tells you guys poo like this??? We are the fuging Carolina Panthers. This ain't the Patriots. You do know players simply choose other teams right?

Who else have I said that about? It's not because we are the "fuging carolina panthers". It's because nicks is from charlotte and went to school at unc and we are desperate at receiver and have a star qb. It's called logic

I don't get your argument. So you're saying because he's from here and because we need wrs that if we don't sign him its just because gentleman didn't want him?

If we didn't want him he wouldn't have already visited here.  What's so frickin hard to understand about that. Just because we aren't willing to get into a bidding war for him doesn't mean we wouldn't like him on the roster.  We would have liked to keep Ginn, Mitchell and Captain as well but since other teans threw way too much money at them they will no longer be on the team.  The Colts have a lot more cap space than we do so if it comes down to money they probably get him but if he is willing to take a little less to stay near home then we have a chance.

Let me clarify. It will depend on his contract. If he signs somewhere for a reasonable contract I think it shows that gettleman didn't want him. However if he strikes it rich we are clearly in no position to win a bidding war and who's to say what our interest was
