Saints front 7 was pretty damn good last season, but fact is Harper is a liability in coverage and doesn't have closing speed. He finished with a negative season grade and Seahawks game was basically his only positively graded game of entire season. The safety as position is evolving and Harper doesn't have the coverage skills. He was used close to line for run stopping and rushing and as part of a lot of 3 safety sets. I like the guy a lot, but panthers are pretty set in run stop and rush depts, don't see how he would be anything but depth.
