Steve is not "loyal".  He has bitched constantly in the media.  He asked for a trade when times were lean.

Gantt has been a whiny bitch since landing that PFT job.

 

He does nothing but smear the Panthers.

 

I used to work at the Observer a good while ago, but I still know a few folks there in the Sports dept.  I have never been told this directly, but it appears that Mr. Richardson's displeasure with Gantt's tactics had something to do with his being assigned to cover Volleyball at Winthrop and being removed from the Panther beat.  If that is true, it would explain it.

Schefter on M&M reported that Smith's agent is meeting with panther's this AM. At this point it would seem that a phone call would be all that is necessary. Wonder if a last ditch face to face reconcilation is possible.

For most of his careee he was a Panther FO and ownership ass kisser. I dont see what Richardson would not have liked.
