I'm not hoping for a 1 year deal with Nicks. Hoping for 2-3 years. With our luck he'd sign a one year deal, have a 1,000 yard and 10 TD season and then we wouldn't be able to re-sign the guy the following year.

i dont think his guaranteed money wil be real far off. 12 mill would be about 3.5 shy of deckers.

Yeah, a Rex Ryan offense and that QB situation is far from ideal for a WR.  A year from now, Decker will likely be viewed as a free agency bust, but I'm not sure that any WR would produce stellar numbers in that situation up there.

Jets were one of the teams in front of us in the draft that desperately needed a receiver. That's good news for us.

I was really hoping we could ATLEAST get Decker.. someone who we know has reliable hands to catch the damn ball. Since we only have Olsen to throw the ball too......... guess were double dipping hard at WR in the draft.
