I'm not hoping for a 1 year deal with Nicks. Hoping for 2-3 years. With our luck he'd sign a one year deal, have a 1,000 yard and 10 TD season and then we wouldn't be able to re-sign the guy the following year.

Not a lot? That's massively overpaying for a #2 WR who will be forced into the #1 spot.

 

Nicks at least has elite #1 potential and has shown it, even if he is coming off a down year.
