Honestly, if I had to choose between the tackle and the wide out, I got to go with the tackle if I could only choose 1. We can hopefully get a wideout in the first round. There is a lot of them. Where as the top tackles willl be long gone by 28. Getting both in free agency would be ideal though.

Agree, that and WR's don't matter of Cam is flat on his back.

Oakland worries me a lot more than Cincy or Tampa. They just voided the Saffold deal and need a tackle badly. They've got a poo ton of cap space.

 

Oakland started the FA Season with $61 mill in their pockets...can you imagine?

 

Gotta be some kind of record.

I agree that Gett has a plan.  Many on here think that they know better than DG but I am going to trust him.  We must remember that the biggest goal has to be to build a consistent winner, year in and year out.  That might make this year a little disappointing compared to last season, but if done right it will pay off for years.  We can have a team that competes for super bowls just like the Pats do most years.  Our core is strong, its just finding a way to build the pieces around it.  That is what DG is doing.  Its not an overnight process.  I believe that this team did better than he believed they would, which is great, but unforutuatley has created some unrealisitic expectaions from much of our fan base.  We must remember that this team had just 2 wins in 2010, TWO!  We have come a long ways and I believe DG will get us to the promised land in due time. So once again, yes you are right, DG has a plan, but not only for this season.

I've got pff too and can look up stats myself. Look at who is replacing him and look at that player's profile and you'll see where the value is.

Why would the bengals downgrade, y'know? Seriously...he lost his starting spot and didn't earn a contract. Just saying...never one, the guy hasn't started...we could be on to something here.

So why are the Bengals trying to re-sign him? Not saying you're wrong or anything, but he's regarded nicely from what I've seen.
