Steve Smith Will Not Be In a Panthers Uniform Next Season

Recommended Posts

And.....? You've typed a 40000 character thesis, to say absolutely NOTHING except your short-sighted love for Gettleman. Simple minded people have a need for things to fit into some type of day-tight compartment. Sometimes things are slightly abstract there, little fella. Monetary issues, in no way, excuse the manner in which this situation has been HANDLED...Period. This, was my original point. That is, before you addressed me, with your vagina all out.

Ok. I'm done discussing this with you. If you don't think every single one of those guys I mentioned is at this point in their careers a better player than Smitty then you are just an emotional wreck and logic has left the building entirely. I'm sorry you are so upset and suggest you get help from friends, family or professionals during these troubling times because I'd hate to see something bad happen to such a nice young man.

That is all. I'm done. Have a nice day. Get well soon.

Boldin is the only one that is better at this point in his career and I almost call that a toss up.

Show my stats or facts that say Antonio, Jordy or Dez are better right now. I guarantee you Dez let's Cam down just like he does Romo. When it comes to who makes your QB a better player....Boldin is the only one mention that I agree with.

Guest Dark Knight

If he does stand up and speak his mind then people will probably call him arrogant and egotistical

Before or after Smith breaks his nose?

Everyone said I was stupid when I said he was getting cut because he rubbed the young guys the wrong way and didn't fit in with Cam and Luke leading the team.

It's the exact reason why Smith is gone, I'll let you pick which player it was with.

Then the young guns are being pussies.

When Hurney was here, 90% of these guys ran around blatting about what a good drafter he was, about how they liked that our organization was a friendly one, they pulled for the players, etc. etc.

Now that Gettleman rode Hurney's team to a blowout playoff loss at home, anything he says for a few years will be mimicked to death, Once Gettleman is shitcanned, they'll remove his penis, grab the next guys and the cycle will go on.

#Facts. #Nominated

LOL...

Almost an entire thread full of people who don't know what a restructure is, nor why we wouldn't do it...

It's a bit alarming that the FO doesn't want people like Smitty and Mitchell around....the way they act doesn't seem to be valued here anymore....odd.

The rumors of a locker room issue is obviously true so Smitty was being too much alpha dog for the new guys......had to be done just sucks that Smitty's greatest strength is his greatest weakness.

Blame Greg Hardy. You aren't going to get Smitty to agree to take less money when you have big mouths like Hardy screaming "pay me" "pay me" and talking about the way we get to the Super Bowl is to pay him a crap load of money. Then the team actually does it. I don't know how hard Greg Hardy works, but I can guarantee you he doesn't work as hard as Steve Smith.

is this how you view most of the world around you?

We bitch now...and I hate it that smith is gone, but would you rather complain now about cutting him, or complain in 4 months when 'we have no WR's except smith!!!!' when its time?

In game threads:

Smitty would have caught that!

Damn, that would have been a TD if Smitty were here!

Man that dude is lucky....Smitty would have popped him in the mouth!!

Nice try. Their number one, Anquan Boldin, played 15 games and finished with 921 yards and 4 TDs. Per your criteria (number one receiver must have 800+ yards and 5 TDs to be productive), he wasn't productive. Their number two, Torrey Smith, finished with 855 yards and 8 TDs - pretty similar to how our de facto number two, Greg Olsen, finished with 816 yards and 6 TDs.

That is still pooty production.  What ever happened to Boldin?  I am sure he is still there right?
