Ask anyone that has actually watched SS sustain drives by making critical plays what production is.

If the ball is not being thrown in the offensive scheme run by the Panthers how is this SS's fault? He only does what the offense asks of him. 12-4 is the key. Would you prefer 1100 yards and 7-9 or 750 yards and 12-4???

I'd be interested in seeing his 3rd and 4th down production, both below and above 10 yrds, compared to other WRs.  I think that would help assess his statistical producton beyond the 750 and 4 - which i dont think tell the whole picture. I mean Lafell had 5 TDs, I assume everyone agrees that 89>11.

Not who you were asking, but I would considering being responsible for over a fifth of your quarterback's passing yardage in a terrible ball-control, low possession offense as production.

Not necessarily. Leadership is hard to quantify. I suppose if you removed SS from the team last season and see what their record is then it would be quantifiable. Otherwise, in last years offensive scheme, SS production is not based on quantity, but QUALITY!!

I don't care if Jeff Davidson is your OC, if Cam is your QB and you are the #1 receiver and can't get to 800 yards and 5 TDs you aren't being very productive.

Didn't Cam only have one 300 yard game?

The entire offense didn't put up a lot of yards.

Well... think about how good of a WR we can get with that high draft pick!!!  Always be positive!
