Just think we're rebuilding, and we're actually going to keep Shula. I don't even think Shula would be capable of running a successful offense if we had Nicks, Smith, the offensive line, a new star WR, and tackle.

FWIW, Marc James said he got a text from Nicks saying that he is in negotiations with a couple of teams and said Panthers were one but was told to stay quiet about it
