I'd agree.....wonder if they would trade up though.  I know we have needs....but trading up for a LT that we'll have for five years on a rookie contract might be worth it.

Trading out of the 1st would make more sense if we want LT. Moses will be there early round 2. I'd rather take Cooks or OBJ if they are there. Line them up with Nicks and we have a decent group receivers. One that would be even better with Steve Smith!

I'm starting to favor OBJ myself. Something about the kid just speaks playmaker in the making. Hope he's there when we pick in the second but I doubt it. I wouldn't be apposed to take him at 28.

No chance he makes it to our pick in the second and I doubt he is even on the board at 28. I think the Jets, Chiefs, or Saints scoop him up before we can.

Seems that Edelman is looking to get paid. Can't afford unless he's our "big signing." Do not want in that scenario.

Why you think all the OTs got gobbled up immediately while the WRs are sitting around? There's 3, maybe 4, first round OTs this year. The top 3 will be gone in the t10, the fourth people aren't even sure if he's a tackle or guard. If we pick an OT at 28, we're reaching. If we wait til our second round pick we miss out on the second tier guys like Moses and Mewhort, 3rd round guys like Hurst will probably be gone by our third round pick. We're drafting at a really bad position to pick up an OT and not reach.
