We very well may end of re-signing him....but at a reasonable price.

 

First wave of FA is always filled with bad teams who have tons of cap space that overpay for players.  Teams that succeed in FA are those that work the system after that wave.

 

That is what Gett did last year and we will see if he has the mojo this year.

Just think one more season and we can get rid of a lot of this dead weight.  Next year might be a step back for sure.  Get rid of Williams and Stewart.  Draft some late round RBs which I'm sure we will this year at least one.  Barner will get a shot.  We'll have some money to sign cam and luke to deals.  We're starting to develop a few young CBs and hopefully we have a savior in a WR soon.  KEEP POUNDING!

That's the spirit. I'm not being sarcastic either. That is exactly how everyone should be looking at this. I'm willing to give Gettleman 3 years to develop his vision before I'm critical. It worked for coach Ron. Truth be told I'm willing to give him 3 years after this one, because of the cap situation he inherited.
