I didn't say anything about stats. Just general observations and yeah, both of our receivers exhibited flap-jacks for hands this past season. Half if Cam's nits were caused because I those things and he shouldn't have to take credit for it?, but he does.

The cap is the issue, not the real dollars. You really think JR would cut Smith over $5m, only helping the team by taking $2million off of the cap hit? No chance.

Look, I am not saying McNutt and/or King are the solutions to our receiver issues, however, to call Gettleman delusional means you obviously have not paid attention to his background. The man has spent years evaluating talent for two Super Bowl winning teams, the Denver Broncos and recently the New York Giants. Trust me, the man has a knack for talent, especially in guys who were undrafted or late picks.

Again, King and/or McNutt may not be our answers but damn, give the kids a shot before calling us or even Gettleman delusional.

Smitty is going to get paid for all he has done for the Panthers and well-deservedly so. He's been a warrior for the past 13-seasons and has single-handedly helped to build Panther Pride into what it is today.
