If we cut him, we'll only be saving $2MILLION!! We'd still be paying Smitty $5million. No reason to cut him. Ask him nicely to take a pay cut and he likely will. Godfrey, June 1 cut, then we got some space to work with. And if CJ restructures or even takes a pay cut that'd help too. No matter what, we should keep Smitty because getting rid of him barely helps at all.

Go check your stats. Smitty had the same number of drops as LaFell last season at 6. Which put them 36th in the league.

How many back to back winning seasons did the Panthers have during that time? Zero, nil, none, nada, zip, zilch.

Love Steve, hope he and the team can work things out to extend his time here a year or two more.
