If you're going to love Gettleman's strategy then you gotta go all in. It can't always be overpaid worthless scrubs that get cut to improve the cap. Sooner or later the money line crosses the talent line and a difficult decision is faced. I don't want Smitty to leave this way, but I do trust in Gettleman. Well if a writer says theres a source, I have to think most of the time its an agent. Whats his angle? Well, he needs to know how much his client is worth. So why not throw some poo at a columnist at NFL and see what brews up in the media and fan base.
