Had the chance to watch this guy in college. He's a mean sumbitch. Nasty streak and knows how to finish off blocks. Better run blocker than pass blocker but will be an upgrade over Bell.

From what I can find on this guy:

 

- Pro Football Focus grade of -0.2 (7th highest rated free agent tackle that played at least 500 snaps last season)

- Can be a penalty machine at times

- Seems to be up and down from game to game. When he is good he is an asset, when he is bad he is a liability.

- Looks like he progressed overall as a player last season. Might be starting to peak as a player.

- Low-risk, high-potential type guy

- Plays MEAN (love that)

That was my point, my quick research suggests he sucks.

I'm not saying that this guy is gonna be good or anything...

 

 

But where do you think Mike Mitchell, Ted Ginn, Drayton Florence, Chase Blackburn, or Colin Cole ranked among the other free agents?

 

Like a said, he may not be the long term answer, but he might be serviceable in the time being.. I have read that the Seahawks would like to have him back, so he can't be THAT bad.

He can take a punch from Frank Alexander with the best of them.

he earned it.  Giacomini is dirty.  Frank shouldn't have done what he did but Giacomini isn't exactly Munoz, he gets by but he's not that good.
