But lets just say I know a source within a source that said Smitty will be gone by tuesday. I knew this last night, was gonna post it but people on here would bash me for it. No one will want to trade for smitty. Unless we want a 7th rder but thats too little for us. So he will be cut tommorow if not tonight.

Actually I heard this rumor as well.

Really? Because of some rumor that we're trying to trade Smith I should feel dumb just for making a comment mocking your stupid premature comment? Speculation is just that... Speculation. You can get lucky sometimes and you can miss the ball completely sometimes. I don't care what happens, I won't feel dumb for that comment. Regardless of what happens, you SHOULD feel dumb for even posting that crap as a definite. Sure, there's a chance he's gone, but honestly, you don't know a damn about it. 'A source within a source' my ass. Everybody here has some kind of source that they know all the insider information from. Really, no one knows a damn thing except for Dave Gettleman himself. No offense at all, I was just pointing out that bragging may be a bit premature given that nothing is official...yet. As with my first response, I was certain to include the "yet."

According to your source- what's the reason? If financial why not axe Godfrey and save 5 mil?
