We tagged him this year for next year? As it stands right now, Hardy will be a FA again next year. When we tagged him, I assumed a long-term deal would follow shortly thereafter. There's still plenty of time to get a long-term deal done before the July deadline, but I thought it would've gotten hammered out in time to give us some flexibility in FA.

DG is prob busy trying to find a WR that will come here. Hardy's deal will be very complex and take time.

No rush on Hardy. Let's get a WR or two on the roster first. Maybe a tackle. Hardy's deal is a big picture situation; FA is about plugging holes with bargain deals.
