Was coming to post the Desean Jackson news.  He and Cam were talking a lot during the Pro Bowl, and I'm sure he'd be a favorite target here, but that cap hit and supposed me-first personality (reason why he's rumored to be gone) won't be a fit here.

His personality would not be any harder to handle than Smiths in my opinion.  No way on the trade however, have to be a signing after he is released

I assume it's probably a deal with very little guaranteed money.  Maybe Jerry Jones is wanting to hedge his bets on the QB roster after having to call John Kitna late last season out of sheer desperation in order to have a backup QB available.

Not sure where the confusion is. Giving Tony Romo a bad backup makes perfect sense.

This way if he has to step in, there won't be any noticeable change in the offense.
