That's a great deal for the Lions.

Won't make for a parade on Mint/Morehead, but good for the Panthers too. Two different ways-Seattle loses playmaker and Detroit won't go WR in the first as has been so often mocked-pushes all WR down the board. Good news.

No.  Just overpaying in the first wave of FA is usually the modis operandi of poorly managed franchises.  That is why you see the same "Big" players on the fist day of FA every year.
