Not sure we can say he's "proven" after one year.  Quite possible he just got lucky as hell.  Gotta have a little more sample size than one season before we can start throwing around words like "proven".

That's a great deal for the Lions.

When are you people going to realize the cap can be contorted to do whatever you want?

The worst teams in the league consistently have the most space for a reason. We don't sign players because of a foolish outdated mentality. It has very little to do with being "cap-strapped."
