Panthers Interested In Eric Decker and Hakeem Nicks

I am not one to be a grammer cop.

However, as the above post illustrates, it is becoming more and more difficult to even determine what half of you are saying. Please take a little time when you post to use at least decent sentence structure and grammer. Remember that others are actually trying to read and understand what you are saying.

So you are saying that your posts are the best grammer and spelling that you can muster.

Your 3rd grade teacher should be so proud. Because that is about the level that you are showing. My third grade son can write better than anything you have posted.

Carry on.....and no, I don't want fries with that.

Oh the irony!

Yeah I don't see that. Decker is going to get paid, big.

maybe, but the point is we could probably pay for two really good WRs in FA for what we were going to pay smith...and we'd still have the draft to add more talent there.

it's a blank slate, but it's as good of a year to have that blank slate as we good hope for.

we'll miss smitty, but others will rise from a production standpoint and a leadership standpoint. it won't be an exact smitty replacement, but it will work and we'll still be in good shape now and better shape going into the future.

If we are trying to move Steve Smith because he is "overpaid", then we should just look to draft two receivers.

why not just rebuild your corps and take advantage of available talent that will be here for longer? we can add a couple vet Wrs who are good and young and draft a couple. we aren't limited in our options.

I don't consider any of the vet options at WR right now to be a real upgrade over Smith.

Right now my hope is that Gettleman can hit on some receiving talent in the draft. Something that Hurney never could do.

one guy probably won't, tho i think his production from this last year can be replaced by one guy.

overall, the cap space allows us to upgrade the corps as a whole in a way we might not have been able to. we might take a step backward as far as the impact from on  player is concerned, but overall i think that cam will enter next year and the following years for sure th a better cast of pass catchers.

smith is my all time favorite panther, but i knew that this moment could be coming. i wish that it wasn't working out like is, but when you give an aging/old WR that kind of money, you kind of set yourself up for this possibility.

i don't like the way it looks things are shaking out, but honestly i think at this point there's not much else that can be done. i wanted smith to leave on his own terms, but the panthers are bigger than smith. one of the serious flaws that hurney had was clinging to the past at the expense of the future. we needed to get away from that, and, unfortunately this is part of the bitter taste of that medicine.
