I was really hoping they'd bring in Lavelle Hawkins after training camp last year. Play making ability.

But no one from that list jumps out at you. I'd be ok with giving Josh Morgan a shot. Was also wanting to bring Danario Alexander in but he had another surgery recently and might not be ready for the start of the year.

It's best to not waste money on one of these guys and draft WR's this year.

None of the veterans in that list who would be willing to sign for peanuts would be an upgrade over Steve Smith.

 

Realistically I think Ginn re-signs, and we end up drafting 2 more receivers.

The "prove it deal" for Hakeem Nicks has gone past being a fairy tale at this point. It isn't going to happen.

 

Not when a guy like Riley Cooper can get $25 million without even having a 1,000 yard season.
