2014 Draft Rumors Thread

The Raiders want to trade back in the 2014 NFL Draft, according to Todd McShay.

Maybe if they trade back to like 10th, then they'd like to cough up the 10th pick for one G Hardy, I can dream anyway

I personally think the top 5 teams are rethinking the weak QB class and whether or not they want to let guys like Watkins, Clowney, Robinson, and Matthews go by just because of a huge reach on one of the QB's.

I have a feeling that Houston, Jax and Cleveland will NOT pick QB's and get one by coming back into the end of the first round or for Cleveland, picking one with their second first rounder

3/7: "League source on Jaguars: 'With Henne back, I don't expect them to take QB until 2nd round and maybe not until 3rd or 4th round.'" - Ryan O'Halloran, Florida Times-Union. "I'll throw a $2 wager out there the Jaguars trade down in round 2 and take Garoppolo."

i don't understand this.

I mean, I can get passing on a QB if I'm them. But it's only because of the 3 guys coming out next year at the position. If you're gonna draft a QB, then take one of Bridgewater, Bortles, or Manziel. If not, draft with the mindset you'll be getting your guy next season.

Cleveland fans fired up about their chances, especially after meetings. They do not seem to even want one of the QB's coming out.  Just sayin.....

But, thats like one no2 and a lot of no3. They dont have a true no1. Being in the toughest division where everyone plays defense, the Rams has to get a wr like Watkins.

Robinson is the better value, but sometimes you have to go with needs. They have not been scaring anyone since Holt left.

Read about his pro day and was WOWed by it.

I love Shazier and KYV. I dont give a fug about "needs". I want BPA if youre drafting that late in the draft (28). Shazier could even play Safety for all I know.

4.38, 4.37, 4.36, unofficial or not thats just insane!

I'm a fan Chuck, but calculate your thoughts and opinions if you want to be taken a little more seriously.

It's a forum. I don't need to build a resume here. There's a life outside this place. Smell the air.

Sometimes your needs can be the "best player available"! Especially drafting in the 1st round, it happens all the time. Example: Star Lotulelei last year!!!!!

Verrett is a need and BPA! You could also make a case for Shazier as a need. Now, it's different if we go Kony Ealy at 28.

:)
