Johnny Manziel signs deal with Nike

Recommended Posts

Manziel was featured in that offense. Cam was playing within an offense vying for a national championship. Not many people can differentiate those. That's why Cam transition so easily. Did I mention Cam is 6'6 250 pound prototypical pocket passer who ran a 4.56. Manziel is 7 inches shorter and ran a 4.68. That's TE speed. DEs run 4.5 in the league, they'll get to him. Believe that! Manziel was successful but his team wasn't. It's so much easier to accumulate gaudy stats not playing within a system and meaningless games. Cam doesn't run backward or jump on his offensive lineman for no reason. Manziel plays for the Camera. Stop talking about college record because the college QBs who had all the passing record weren't even drafted.

God you are so ignorant it's not even funny. A&m had a terrible defense. That's not Manziels fault. You are sorely underestimating his acceleration and quickness when changing direction that cam or rg3 don't have. You don't even believe he will go first round which he will just shows you really don't know about football

You need speed in the NFL to get away from defenders, all teams have to do is corral him

Manziel's new name is the Golden Calf of College Station

And of course there is always a back up excuse sitting in his pocket. TA&M also put up a lot of points on those teams they were playing. So their D wasn't as good also. You make it seem like there was a bunch of 10-9 final scores in the SEC. Manziel went 16 of 41 against LSU, that had nothing to do with the defense and LSU only scored 34 points. That's low scoring in college.

As for quickness, of course he appears quicker. He's just 5'11. Just better displacement. For example, Usain Bolt being 6'4 rarely start early with a lead since he's normally the tallest of the runners. I don't know why people keep trying to differentiate quickness and speed. They're the same. It's the same stored energy(Kinetic energy) that propels an object into motion. If you're fast you're also quick. Manziel just played against a bunch of overzealous college kids who took bad angles and that OL interrupting their angle, thus Manziel took advantage of those gaps. Those gaps will not exist in the NFL. Why? Because the book is already written on Cam, RG3, and Vick.
